Food Service Updates

Hi, my name is Lorie Pennington, and I’m the Food Service Director at Bucyrus City Schools. I’ve been working with the school for the past eight years through Sodexo Education Services. Sodexo partners with schools to provide healthy and nutritious meals for your students.

Throughout the year I’m responsible for the Bucyrus Backpack Program, the Summer Food Service Program, the After-school Snack Program, along with the day-to-day lunch and breakfast operations at both the elementary and secondary buildings.

My goal through this blog is to provide you with up-to-date information regarding changes to the National School Lunch Program through the USDA. I encourage you to check back often as several changes are expected to come our way over the coming months.
